Installation Guide

Prerequisites

Equalizer APO version 0.9.1 or newer has to be installed first. Peace is only a GUI extension, so it cannot run without Equalizer APO.

Download Peace Equalizer

Get the newest version of Peace from SourceForge. The installer is normally called PeaceSetup.exe.

Run the Installer

Launch PeaceSetup.exe. The installer finds your Equalizer APO installation on its own and sets Peace up accordingly. Once it finishes without errors, you can start using Peace right away.

Launch Peace

Open Peace Equalizer from the Start menu or from its desktop shortcut. The window opens with default settings, ready for you to customize.

Configure Your Audio

Begin by choosing a preset for your headphones from the AutoEQ database, or build your own EQ profile with the 31-band equalizer.

Antivirus Note

Some antivirus programs may wrongly report PeaceSetup.exe or Peace.exe as a threat. This is a false positive, and Peace is safe, open-source software.

Do I need Equalizer APO to use Peace?
